Weight per square metre = thickness in metres × density; speeds are from our cut charts and fall as the plate gets thicker.
Questions
How thick can you plasma cut?
Plate up to 50 mm thick in mild steel on tables up to 3,000 × 1,500 mm. Stainless and aluminium are best up to about 25 mm. Call to confirm anything thicker or unusual.
