About these parts

Machine plates, mounting plates, lifting lugs, sprocket blanks, clamps and spacers, cut from plate ready for drilling, machining or welding.

Gear segment / quadrantToothed sector gear: teeth on an arc of the chosen angle (straight-flank approximation of the ISO 53 rack), pivot bore and two lightening holes.
Ratchet pawlPivoting pawl blank: lever with a pivot bore at one end, hooked tooth tip and a spring hole.
Cam / eccentric platePlate cam with a choice of profile (snail drop, single lobe, double lobe) defined by base radius and lift, bored for the shaft.
Geneva drive wheelGeneva (Maltese cross) driven wheel: n radial slots for the drive pin and concave locking arcs between them, sized from the drive centre distance.
Spring anchor / tension plateTab with a row of spring hook holes for adjustable tension and two fixing holes.
Harrow / cultivator tine blankFlat blank for a cultivator or harrow tine: long tapered blade with a pointed tip and two mounting holes at the root.
Bucket side cutter blankBolt-on side cutter / wear blade blank for a digger bucket: trapezoid with a bevel edge line etched and countersink-size bolt holes.
Three-point linkage plateLinkage / headstock side plate with pin holes for Category 1 (19 mm), 2 (25.5 mm) or 3 (31.75 mm) top-link and lower-link pins.
Feed trough end plateEnd plate for a rolled sheet trough: semicircular or V bottom with a lip, legs and fixing holes around the profile.
Hurdle / gate clipFlat clip that joins two livestock hurdles: plate with two pin-hook slots open at the top.
Access / inspection coverBolted access cover: rectangle, round or obround with a ring of bolt holes at an even pitch round the edge and an optional lifting hole pair.
Hatch frame ringRing-shaped frame for an access opening: clear opening, frame width and bolt holes to match the access cover.
Louvre / vent panelVentilation panel with rows of long slots (press louvres after cutting, or leave as slots) and fixing holes in the border.
Fan guard grilleRound fan finger-guard: concentric ring slots separated by radial spokes, a central hub and corner or rim fixing holes.
Brush / cable entry plateCable entry plate with an obround cable slot (for a brush strip or grommet) and countersink-size fixing holes.
Earth / bus barFlat earth or bus bar with a row of tapped-size or clearance holes at a fixed pitch and two insulator mounting holes.
Enclosure wall-mount lugWall-mounting lug for enclosures and cabinets: L-shaped tab with a keyhole (or plain) wall slot and a screw hole to the enclosure, bend line etched.
Sheave / block cheek plateCheek plate for a pulley block: rounded plate with the sheave axle hole, a top shackle hole and two spacer-bolt holes. Not load rated.
Tank baffle plateInternal baffle for a rectangular tank: corner flow notches, a manway hole and a pattern of flow holes.
Fan / mixer impeller blankFlat impeller blank: hub with bore and n swept or straight blades (twist the blades after cutting for an axial fan or mixer).
Wear strip / skid plateBolt-on wear strip or liner with countersink-size bolt holes in one or two rows; use Hardox for abrasive duty.
Belt / chain guard panelSide panel for a belt or chain drive guard: stadium outline round two pulleys at your centre distance, with a viewing mesh of small holes and fixing holes.
Lever arm (tapered)Tapered lever with a large boss and bore at the pivot end and a smaller boss and hole at the other.
Bell crank (L lever)Right-angled lever with a pivot hole at the corner and a hole at the end of each arm.

Twin-nut locking platePlate that locks two bolt heads together: two bolt holes and bend-up tabs at both ends.
External-tooth lock washerWasher with twisted-tooth pattern round the outside edge (cut flat; set the teeth after cutting).
Internal-tooth lock washerWasher with teeth round the bore (cut flat; twist the teeth after cutting).
Anchor nut plateTwo-lug plate that carries a captive nut behind a panel: centre hole and two rivet holes in rounded lugs.
Disc with square boreDisc or hub plate with a square bore to drive on a square shaft, and optional fixing holes.
Disc with hexagon boreDisc with a hexagonal bore (across flats) to drive on a hex shaft or hold a nut.
Disc with double-D boreDisc whose bore has two flats to drive on a double-D shaft.
Disc with splined boreDisc with a straight-sided splined bore (blank for finishing): number of splines, minor and major diameters.
Spectacle blindFigure-of-eight line blind: a solid blanking disc and an open spacer ring joined by a web, with bolt-clearance notches round both.
Paddle (spade) blindSpade blank with a long handle for slipping between flanges; hole in the handle for an identification tag.
Orifice plate with handleFlat orifice plate: disc to fit inside the flange bolts, a central bore (machine the edge after cutting) and a projecting tab for the data stamp.
Rectangular full-face gasketRectangular gasket with a rectangular opening and bolt holes at an even pitch round the frame.
Obround manway gasketObround (racetrack) gasket for a tank manway: inside opening, frame width and evenly spaced bolt holes.
HandwheelSpoked handwheel: rim, hub with bore and three to six straight spokes.
Dividing (index) plateIndex plate with up to three concentric hole circles of different counts, for a dividing head or rotary table.
