About Pre-galvanised steel sheet
Pre-galvanised sheet is thin steel sheet with a zinc coating applied at the mill. It suits light brackets, covers and flashings that need some protection without painting.
Grades: DX51D+Z275, DX51D+Z140. Thickness from 0.7 mm to 3 mm.
Typical uses: Light brackets, covers, trays, ducting parts and flashings.
Edge and finish
The zinc burns away at the cut edge, so the edge is bare steel. Touch up cut edges with zinc-rich paint for outdoor parts. For heavy plate that must be galvanised, cut mild steel and have it hot-dip galvanised afterwards.

Is pre-galvanised the same as hot-dip galvanised?

What thickness is available?
